Superfreak Boardshorts

Constructed from water-resistant Psychostretch fabric, O'Neill's Superfreak boardshorts offer a surfer-friendly combination of comfort, style, and performance. Comfort features include a Superfly closure system with locking drawcord, a diamond ripstop inner waistband, and stretchy hyperprene side panels. Offered in a variety of solid and printed styles, the Superfreak has a 22-inch outseam.

Four-Way Psychostretch Fabric Moves with You

O'Neill's Psychostretch fabric provides plenty of comfort and flexibility with 100 percent four-way stretch polyester spandex. This fabric allows the boardshorts to move with you both horizontally and vertically without clinging or chafing. For greater ease of movement, the Superfreak also includes stretchy hyperprene side panels.

Rigid Inner Waistband Stays Put

The only part of the boardshort that does not stretch is the inner waistband. This part is constructed from tough ripstop fabric that keeps your shorts securely in place when you're out surfing the waves or hanging out on the beach.

As a bonus, these shorts feature a side zip pocket to keep beach essentials secure. The boardshorts are screened and embroidered with the O'Neill and Superfreak signature logos.

Lightweight, Quick-Drying Fabric

Treated with a DWR finish, the Superfreak is lightweight and dries quickly so you stay cool and comfortable both in water and on land. For added comfort, the Superfreak Printed Boardshorts (sold separately) have a no-inseam design to reduce chafing and friction on the skin.

Superfly Technology with Locking Drawcord for Comfort

O'Neill's Superfly technology features a locking drawcord, rubber eyelets, and a Lycra gusset closure. Together, these elements ensure a comfortable, customized fit. The drawcord contains an interlocking pattern that keeps it closed.
